6:18. “ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವಾಗಲೀ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತವಾದ ಆಕಾಶವಾಗಲೀ ನಿನಗೆ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನವಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಲದು.

6:18. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವನೋ? ಇಗೋ, ಆಕಾಶಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶಾಕಾಶಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಸಲಾರವು; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಸುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?
